Created by Karen Rice a mother of 4.
"More than 15 years ago I gave birth to my first child Jake and since then Mitchell 10 has come along then Jessica 8 and lastly Nicholas 5.
Since becoming a mother I have not had family support on a regular basis as my family live far away. So from day one I had to do everything myself no matter what the environment, whether it be juggling baby, pram and bags up stairs to our unit in Sydney, getting public transport with pram and baby to many years later getting to the shops with a 4yr old, 2 yr old and newborn in toe. All the while struggling and juggling with shopping from groceries to toys for the kids birthdays.
We have all been there, from carrying the baby and putting our shopping in the pram, to hanging all our bags off the handles, to opening the sun visor and resting the shopping basket on it while pushing the pram with one hand.
Ironically this year when Nicholas started school I decided enough was enough. Getting to the shops when you have young children does not have to be such a struggle.
This is why I have invented the Shopping Caddy. To make parents lives easier and less stressful. Children in shopping centres is stressful enough without having the problem of not having anywhere to put your shopping.
The Shopping Caddy was designed by me, a mother for mothers."
